Basic Tips for female safety
1. Put your phone into your purse or pocket when walking to your car. Honestly, the 3 minutes it will take to get to your vehicle are vital to your attention and you can check that phone when you are safely in your vehicle with the doors locked. (don't forget to check the backseat before entering).
2. Get your self an actual striking weapon and stop using your keys! Keys are not made from strong metal. Keys break all the time just unlocking things. Should your keys break during an attack, and you manage to get away from your attacker, you will not be able to drive away to safety.
3. Speak loudly. Attackers want easy targets, so making a scene WILL deter them. Use your voice! Repeat back to them what they say to you, and say it LOUDLY.
Remember, NOTHING is more important than your life. If they want your purse, give it to them. Everything inside your purse is replaceable, YOU are not.
